Copertina dell'album 'Le migliori' di Mina e Adriano Celentano, il fotografo accusa: è plagioAmerican Music Awards 2016: i migliori look sul red carpet 
Si è svolta nelle scorse ore al Microsoft Theater di Los Angeles la cerimonia di premiazione degli American Music Awards 2016, che ha visto Ariana Grande vincere il premio più importante, quello di artista dell´anno. Conduttori della serata sono stati il comico Jay Pharoah, insieme alla modella Gigi Hadid.
A dominare in termini di quantità di riconoscimenti ricevuti è stato però Justin Bieber, che si è portato a casa ben 4 AMA: Video of the year, Favorite male artist, Favorite album pop/rock per ´Purpose´ e Favorite song pop/rock per ´Love Yourself´.
Soddisfazione anche per l´ex One Direction Zayn Malik, che vinto l´AMA come New artist of the year e per Selena Gomez, in rientro da un periodo molto difficile, premiata con l´AMA come Favorite female artist. Tre riconoscimenti vanno poi a Drake, che domina la categoria Rap/ Hip-Hop.
Premio speciale invece a Sting, che ricevuto l´AMA ´Award of merit´, praticamente un riconoscimento alla carriera. L´artista britannico ha recentemente suonato in concerto per la riapertura del Bataclan di Parigi, a un anno dalla strage.
Molti gli artisti che si sono alternati sul palco esibendosi dal vivo, tra cui Green Day, Sting, James Bay, Niall Horan, John Legend, Bruno Mars, Twenty One Pilots, The Weeknd, Ariana Grande con Nicki Minaj, Maroon 5 con Kendrick Lamar e Lady Gaga.
