Emmy Awards: 'Il Trono di Spade' entra nella storia dei premi con 38 riconoscimenti

Mai nessuno nella storia degli Emmy Awards, prestigiosi premi considerati gli Oscar della Tv, ha avuto tanti riconoscimenti quanti quelli ricevuti dal telefilm fantasy ´Il Trono di Spade´.

La serie tratta dai romanzi dello scrittore statunitense R.R.Martin, arrivata alla sua sesta stagione, ha incamerato nel corso degli anni ben 38 Emmy, compresi i 3 ricevuti nelle scorse ore nel corso della cerimonia che si è svolta a Los Angeles.

Il Trono di Spade, che aveva ricevuto 23 nomination, ha vinto i premi come Miglior serie drammatica, Miglior Regia per una serie drammatica a Miguel Sapochnik e Miglior sceneggiatura per una serie drammatica a David Benioff e D.B. Weiss.



Il premio come Miglior commedia è invece andato a ´Veep´. Grande soddisfazione anche per 'The People vs O.J. Simpson', che racconta la vicenda giudiziaria dell´ex campione NFL , che ha vinto come Miglior miniserie, rastrellando le 5 statuette della categoria.

Delusione per Kit Harington e  Lena Headey de Il Trono di Spade, che erano favoriti nelle categorie attoriali di ´supporting actor´, ma che sono invece rimasti a bocca asciutta.

L´Emmy per il Miglior attore in una serie drammatica è andato invece a Ben Mendelsohn per ´Bloodline´, mentre quello per la Miglior attrice a Maggie Smith, per il suo ruolo in ´Downton Abbey´.
